About the academy

Vicharles Football Academy aims to develop players through quality coaching, core football skills, technique, tactical awareness and progressive training. The academy welcomes young players who want to develop their football potential, regardless of their current ability.

Player commitments

Practise the techniques and skills taught and apply them during matches.
Attend training regularly and punctually, behave respectfully and explain any absence.
Do not enter into or sign football agreements with another club, academy or agent on behalf of the academy without the appropriate discussion and approval.
Show discipline, sportsmanship and respect for teammates, coaches and opponents.

Parent / guardian / guarantor commitments

Encourage the young player and support agreed development targets without undue pressure.
Communicate with academy staff and keep them informed about matters affecting the player.
Promote respectful behaviour towards all players, families, coaches and officials.

The academy's older form also listed additional eligibility conditions. These should be reviewed and confirmed by the academy before being treated as current admission rules. This enquiry currently applies to players aged 12–18.
